The Answer

The answer is up to you.

It always has been, and it always will be.

This doesn’t mean that you are the expert on everything, and this doesn’t mean that your opinion necessarily overrides other opinions or proven facts.

I’m referring to the concepts of ownership and self-awareness.

Within your universe the answer is up to you, as you know yourself best and you have the power to make changes in your life.

Building your self-awareness and taking ownership of your actions and results will empower you to determine your answer.

You can ask questions, do research, consider what has worked for others, get expert advice, or complete other investigative actions before making a decision.

You can also evaluate what has worked for you in the past and review your past struggles to avoid or overcome similar challenges in the future.

Preparing can help you to be more successful, providing you continue to take aligned action toward your goals.

When it comes to physical fitness, the answer is to move regularly.

This might mean working out at a gym, though a traditional fitness environment is not required.

Moving regularly might mean lifting weights three times each week, practicing yoga periodically, and spinning once a week. Or moving regularly might mean walking twice a day on weekdays and completing a high-intensity interval training circuit once a week.

If and how you choose to move is up to you. Your answer, understandably, will look different than mine. We have different goals as well as different preferences and commitments.

Further, your answer may change over time. (Mine certainly has.)

If you don’t have your answer today, you can still take action. Every step you take toward becoming a happier, healthier you is a step toward finding your optimal fitness routine and building your healthy lifestyle.

Consider exploring fitness activities that appeal to you. Spending more time engaging in activities that you enjoy is a win for you — physically and mentally — and observing how you feel will help you to determine if your approach is working or if making adjustments might improve your experience.

Finding your answer is a journey. Enjoy your travels…and don’t forget to bring your towel. 😉
